Integrating Non-Computerized Workers Into Your LMS

We’re living in a time where the use of computers dominates our lives; however, many jobs, such as those in the construction, manufacturing and farming industries still don’t require their use. In cases like this it’s difficult to integrate all workers into the company’s learning management system but Sound Idea Digital has the solution to this issue.

We have two methods to help you integrate your non-computerised employees into your learning management system.

1. Practical Assessment

This involves having the workers do a practical assessment on paper collectively.

Once they’ve completed everything, their work will be graded by an assessor who will then enter the score into the Learning Management System. The worksheets will be collected and kept as proof for the future.

2. Webinars

This is a web based solution that involves a live video chat between learners and the instructor or facilitator. This has the added financial advantage for the business: the instructor can present slides and other learning resources on screen, the costs associated with printing handouts and booklets is eliminated.

The learners can interact with the instructor as they give the lesson, ensuring they get the most out of it.

3. Clickers

Clickers are an interactive technology that allows instructors to pose questions to students and immediately collect and see the responses of the entire class. A clicker can be assigned to each learner who will answer questions that appear on a presentation. Their scores will reflect on a report that can be generated on the LMS.
