Live Sessions and Webinar Style Learning

Face-to-face training sessions can be a valuable and educational experience for learners. They have the opportunity to interact with the instructor and ask questions, resulting in better retention of the information presented to them.

The cost associated with these, however, are huge: travel and accomodation arrangements must be made, handouts and learning materials must be printed and many other things. With the Webinar Style Learning functionality, classroom training can be moved online to eliminate the costs associated with face-to-face training sessions and comes with many other added advantages.

Live Sessions and Webinars Style learning can be described as  virtual training sessions where a computer, laptop or tablet with a webcam are used for the instructor to present and the learners to participate in a training session.

Despite the fact that webinars are virtual, when set up properly, they can be more interactive and engaging than face-to- face training sessions.

With Live sessions and webinar style learning there is no limit to the amount of learners that can participate. Learners are in the comfort of their homes or offices, therefore, there are no room restrictions.

Learners need the option to ask questions in order to get the most out of a class. This feature gives them the opportunity to ask the instructor questions. Instructors can share their slides and even make notes with the whiteboard feauture.

4. Cost effective

As mentioned, face-to-face training session are expensive to host. There is no need to pay for travel and accomodation costs, rent spaces or print out resources.

5. Easily track participation

It is easier to keep track of who attends new employee training with webinars, because of the webinar process which uses email, unlike training at a venue when you are forced to rely on the old clipboard and pen method so participants can sign to indicate attendance.

6. Repurpose material

Sessions can be recorded and used in the future
